Carrot Pasta Sauce

This is a quick and easy pasta recipe that you can eat anytime as breakfast or snack. The special thing about this pasta recipe is that carrots have been used along with tomatoes to make the sauce.

Ingreadient

 

  • 350 gms boiled pasta of your own choice
  • 250 gram carrots, chopped into small pieces
  • 2 small tomatoes
  • 1 medium-sized onion cut into quarters
  • 4 garlic cloves, chopped
  • Olive oil or oil of your choice
  • 1 cup Vegetable broth
  • Spices (Salt, black, white, and cayenne pepper)
  • One cup of fresh cream (optional)
  • Dried herbs and oregano (optional)

Direction

  1. In a pot, take some olive oil and toss the chopped onions. Saute it for 5 minutes until they are golden brown.
  2. Add chopped garlic cloves and cook it till it loses its rawness.
  3. Then, add the carrot pieces in the pot along with sliced tomatoes and cook till they are soft and mushy.
  4. Once they are pulpy, add salt, black pepper, white pepper, and cayenne pepper according to your taste. Give it a mix and turn off the burner.
  5. After the mixture cools down, transfer it into a blender and add the vegetable broth. Process it until it becomes a smooth paste.
  6. In a pan, warm up the Carrot Pasta Sauce removed from the mixer and mix it with the boiled pasta of your choice.
  7. You can also add some fresh cream to make the Carrot Pasta Sauce smoother and tastier.
  8. Garnish it with some dried herbs and oregano, and voila! your Carrot Pasta Sauce is ready to be indulged in.
